Faculty at the Center for Applied Genetic Technology (CAGT) are all within the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (UGA CAES). Faculty have academic homes within the Departments of Crop and Soil Sciences, Horticulture, and Plant Pathology.

Students can apply directly to each faculty member’s home department or via the Institute for Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Genomics, the Institute of Bioinformatics, the Integrated Plant Sciences program or the Integrated Life Science program.

Crop and Soil Sciences

The graduate program in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences trains students at the master's and doctoral levels and prepares them for careers in outreach, academia and industry.

Plant Pathology
